The temperature control and pressure parameters of the constant temperature hot press machine in the production of capacitive touch screens depend on specific production processes (such as ACF binding, FOG/COG bonding, FPC connection, etc.), and there are significant differences in parameters in different scenarios. Based on industry standards and practical application cases, specific references are as follows:
1、 Temperature control parameters (core range)
Conventional ACF binding (consumer electronics, small and medium-sized capacitive screens): The temperature is usually controlled at 190 ± 10 ℃, with COG bonding required to reach 200 ± 10 ℃, and the pre bonding temperature is relatively low, about 70 ± 10 ℃; FOG hot pressing suitable for IPS screens, with accurate temperature control between 135 ℃ -140 ℃ to avoid MURA phenomenon.
Hot press bonding (FOG, TAB process) in the field of industrial control: temperature control is more accurate, with a temperature difference accuracy of ± 5 ℃ and a conventional range of 180-220 ℃. It relies on Japanese temperature control modules to achieve stable temperature control.
Flexible capacitive screen (COF binding, FPC connection): The temperature is relatively mild, about 170-190 ℃, to avoid high temperature damage to flexible components, while accurately controlling the heating rate to ensure bonding quality.
Large scale production of full-size capacitive screens: The temperature adjustable range is wider (from room temperature to 300 ℃), and the temperature control accuracy can reach ± 1 ℃. It can be flexibly adapted according to different structures such as G+G and G+FF.
2、 Pressure parameters (core range)
Small and medium-sized ACF binding and FPC bonding: The pressure is usually 2-3MPa, and the head pressure can be refined to 5-95Kgf. The working pressure is controlled at 0.5-0.7MPa to avoid virtual soldering or component damage; The pressure during the preloading stage is relatively low, about 0.1MPa, while during the main pressing stage it is about 0.2-0.25MPa.
Pre pressing process in the field of industrial control: flexible pressure regulation, pressure control accuracy can reach ± 0.5MPa, and according to the impact resistance requirements of industrial control screens, the pressure range can be flexibly adjusted to enhance component adhesion.
Flexible capacitive screen hot pressing: The pressure should be accurate and gentle, about 1-2MPa, matched with SMC pressure regulating valve to avoid wrinkles and damage to flexible components, and achieve accurate connection of micro pitch PIN pins.
Full size capacitor screen production: adjustable pressure range of 0-50MPa, pressure can reach 10-40T, suitable for the hot pressing requirements of different sizes and structures of capacitor screens, ensuring tight adhesion.
