The vacuum bonding machine is the core equipment for ensuring the bonding quality in the production of capacitive touch screens. The rationality of its temperature control and pressure parameters directly determines the bonding accuracy, bubble free rate, and service life of the touch screen. Capacitor screens of different sizes, structures, and materials, as well as different production scenarios, have significant differences in parameter requirements. Blindly applying fixed parameters can easily lead to problems such as bubbles, delamination, and component damage. Therefore, it is necessary to scientifically adjust them based on actual production needs, taking into account both quality and efficiency.


The core prerequisite for adjusting parameters is to clarify the three major influencing factors: capacitor screen structure (such as G+G, G+FF), bonding material (optical adhesive OCA model, cover glass thickness), and production batch requirements. Based on this, optimize temperature control and pressure parameters step by step to ensure stable bonding effect.


The core of adjusting temperature control parameters is to match the curing characteristics of optical adhesive with the heat resistance of components, avoiding high temperature damage or weak bonding at low temperatures. Under normal circumstances, the bonding temperature range of OCA optical adhesive is 60-80 ℃. If low-temperature OCA adhesive (suitable for flexible capacitor screens) is used, the temperature should be controlled at 40-60 ℃ to prevent deformation of flexible substrates (such as PET) due to heat; If it is a large-sized capacitive screen (over 20 inches), the temperature should be appropriately raised to 70-90 ℃ to promote the flow of the adhesive layer and reduce residual bubbles. At the same time, temperature control should follow the principle of "gradient heating" to avoid sudden cooling and heating that may cause glass breakage. The heating rate should be controlled at 5-10 ℃/min, and after bonding is completed, it should be naturally cooled to room temperature before discharging.


The adjustment of pressure parameters should take into account both the tightness of the fit and the protection of the components. The core is to adapt according to the size, thickness, and adhesive properties of the capacitive screen. Small and medium-sized capacitive screens (5-15 inches), with a bonding pressure controlled at 0.3-0.5MPa, and a pressure uniformity error not exceeding ± 0.05MPa to prevent excessive pressure from damaging the touch sensor; Large sized capacitive screens require increased pressure to 0.6-0.8MPa, while adopting zone pressure control to avoid loose edge adhesion. If bubbles appear during the bonding process, the pressure can be appropriately increased by 0.1-0.2 MPa, and the vacuum holding time can be extended accordingly; If there is a component indentation, it is necessary to reduce the pressure and adjust the contact angle between the pressure head and the screen body.


In actual production, it is necessary to flexibly adjust according to specific scenarios. For example, industrial control capacitive screens have high requirements for adhesion and firmness. The temperature can be increased by 5-10 ℃, the pressure can be increased by 0.1MPa, and the holding time can be extended; Flexible capacitive screens need to reduce temperature and pressure, and be equipped with flexible pressure heads to avoid damaging the substrate; During mass production, it is necessary to conduct small-scale trial production first, adjust parameters based on the bubble rate and delamination rate during the trial production, determine suitable values, and then proceed with large-scale production.


In addition, after adjusting the parameters, it is necessary to keep records and make timely adjustments based on the environmental temperature and humidity (production environment 20-25 ℃, humidity 40% -60%) to avoid environmental factors affecting the bonding effect. At the same time, regularly calibrate the temperature control accuracy of the equipment (with an error controlled within ± 1 ℃) and the pressure sensor to ensure stable parameter output, fundamentally guaranteeing the bonding quality of the capacitive touch screen and adapting to the production needs of different scenarios.
